I haven't used Tabber at all, so I have no idea whether or not it has a similar history of breaking. Tabview functions by taking content from other pages or templates on the Wiki and using that as tab content, as opposed to having the content in the actual code where the tab will appear. Of course, Wikia is usually quick to fix the problem once I have reported it. It has been broken severely at least three times in the roughly 1 3/4 years that I have been using it on BioShock Wiki.

Deltaneos ( talk) 12:07, Octo(UTC) In my experience, Tabview tends to get broken periodically by changes that Wikia makes. One of the problems with TabView is that it doesn't display correctly in the Monobook or wikiaphone skins, but the amount of people using them is most likely a minimum.

Sovq 06:58, Octo(UTC) I was in a slightly similar discussion on another wiki. The Andromeda Galaxy was a place of few great spacefaring empires. You can style the tabber through Wikia.css, the whole sheet can be found here. Generally I'd recommend tabview if you have large (load slowly) content pages to transclude, for every other occasion I would use tabber. That means you might lose some of the functionality you have on the content pages. Some, like for sortable tables or nested tabview, aren't. Last I checked it didn't load scripts for the contents of each tab but from what I see on your wiki that has changed and some scripts are loaded.View Mobile Site Follow on IG TikTok Join Fan Lab. Do not add to unless it really needs a response. Information in this thread may be out of date. FandomizedTabs makes the tabviews and tabbers modernized, so that they are consistent to the tabs in the Fandom Design System. It is considered archived - the discussion is over. To get started, you can either use Template:Simple_tabs from Templates Wiki or find one that you like on another wiki and copy that version.Note: This topic has been unedited for 3908 days. Since this is just a fancy template, there are many different versions out there. This is what TabView does on mobile anyways. If that is the case, you can make either a list or table of links to the other pages and just style them to look like tabs. In other words, if there is no shared content. The second alternative only works if the tabs are the only content on the page. However, it you really want to use other pages to store the content, you can convert from TabView to Tabber like this. With Tabber, the content can be placed directly on the page. The first alternative is to use Tabber to achieve a similar result. That said, there are two alternatives that are still available. So, no, there is no other way to enable TabView. There is no way to enable extensions other than through Fandom and, as stated on the help page, Fandom no longer enables TabView for wikis.
